If you offer candy to co-workers or clients, consider skipping the sugar spike, create a candy free salon or spa, and offer meditation stones instead.

River rocks are inexpensive and can be picked up in the floral department of your local craft store.

Holding a stone lightly in your hand gives your mind something peaceful to focus on. Close your eyes, feel the weight and texture of the stone, take a few deep breaths and relax your shoulders. One to five minutes give you a quick chill out moment during a busy day.

This a great way to begin to shift workplace culture toward healthier habits, incorporate wellness into your business, and a way to ease into and support a company meditation program.

Skipping the sugar will help minimize the afternoon slump.  Meditation moments will help increase focus and reduce stress.
